The Principles and Practice of Palliative Care Nursing and Palliative Care Competencies for Canadian Nurses (September, 2009)

CASN is pleased to post a new educational resource developed by the CASN Task Force on Palliative and end-of-life care that educators may consult in curriculum development in this area of nursing care. The Task Force has identified core competencies specific to this particular field of care as well as general competencies nurses need when providing palliative and end-of-life care.
